You do make valid points that sometimes both sides can get hateful (though sometimes pretty darn humorous). I have often wondered why religion always seems to bring out the worst in people when it is suppose to do the opposite.
I can't imagine God appreciates it, though the cause is noble sometimes the methods get a bit extreme. Certainly a reflection of how deep emotions run on these issues.
