The merchants are getting their wealth and livelyhood from the Holiday festivals, which includes- - - Christmas (especially Christmas) Easter, mother's day, father's day, halloween, valentine's day, Bithdays,(not a holiday but thought I'd include it) Thanksgiving, April Fool's day, Passover day (wine sales,etc.)
How do you think they would fair if these no longer exist? NOT WELL, I'd imagine!
