Sorry, I was not clear on the point about who I was calling blind or totally disinterested. I said, "You either had to be blind or totally uninterested to miss that point." My use of "you" was as an indefinite "one", meaning people generally. My sentence could have read, "One either had to be blind or�" I was not particularly calling you blind. On the other hand, that same reply did explain why my statement to "1" was correct. Do you disagree with it?
As for what the Society did in the Kingdom Come book, they attempted a clever diversion. But, all you had to do was read that appendix a couple of times and realization sank in pretty quick that there was a frank admission there. I don�t see where anything I�ve said is in defense of the Society in that matter. If anything I was being critical of their diversionary tactic, which I called "spin."
