Gary,
You said,
"Thus, 1 Corinthians 15:38 says about the seed of the resurrected one: "..but God gives it a body just as it has pleased him, and to eachof the seeds its own body."
Only that "body" is of another person alive during his "presence". "
Please inform the board exactly how you rationalize based on this scripture that the body is of another person already alive. A living person NOW with the spirit of a person from the past is what is commonly called today in spiritism as POSSESSION.
I could go on and on, but I want to make a small point, the simple fact that the verse you quoted only says that God gives it A body as it pleases him. "A" body. It doesn't say that it is the body of a person already alive today. That is pure conjecture that has no biblical basis, and is definitely not proven by that verse. Perhaps there are other verses you have in mind that could show your point? If not, then your theory, and I stress theory, is invalid and is based on your own interpretation which has no leg to stand on.
I do not mean to be disrespectful, but simple fact is, the verse you quoted does not support the statement, and you know full well Jan will jump on it in a heartbeat and you again will not provide the proof to convince him, much less anyone else.
If you feel that strongly about such a belief, then why not provide a little more basis to support it. Otherwise your theory is already dead.
