Anyone who knows anything about the blood industry and the horrors incurred because of the contamination of blood in the US during the 80s would have sense enough to know that would be the motivating factor. Of course there are countless doctors who have watched victims of the WT cult mindset die needlessly so such tragedies could be called to mind when someone decides to support such research.
Inasmuch as the WT would like to take credit for these advances the truth is that they are too small and insignificant a group to be of such influence on the mighty medical comuunity. It's not like they (the WT) are sending lobbyists to DC to work on the Dept of Health or something.
