Hello Joseph,

Thanks for this commentary.

I would just add that my experience is that
the WTS figures out which date to declare
Nisan 14 by the new moon that is at least 18
hours old.

With scientific instruments and calculations,
of course the technical new moon becomes the
date for some.

Then there is the concept of when the new moon
would be the first based upon Jerusalem. So
while it might be an 18-hour new moon in New
York, it might have been less than that for
Jerusalem and so there's a complication.

Of note, as you know, Jews in the Dispora
have sedar meals two days in a row, just to
be sure that one of them is the right passover.

But in general, the JW date would tend to be
later than the technical date based upon their
own concept of how to celebrate the date.

And of course, as we both know, they are totally
in the dark about the fact that the Sedar is
eaten on Nisan 15th....but that's a hopeless
argument, isn't it? There's a powerful mind
block for some reason on facing reality regarding
the passover.

What can one say? At least you're "free"and
in the light on this...and thanks for your
articles, this has become one of my favorite
false teachings to expose.

Cheers,
Gary
