First, I will warn you that I have a memory that scares a lot of people. Now, if you are the same Jaz that posted on the focused forum (approx June/July 1997)and then sent support messages to yourself (using the SAME e-mail address) that basically said "Jaz is right, NIM", then that could be why M14 can't be botherd with you. (I believe those archives are still there since that board does not move very quickly, you can see for yourself, I haven't checked).

Now, to point one, since this posting forum is billed as positive discussion for JWs why would he delete a proJW post? Did you mean to ask why he would leave posts by JWs that are insults? Because he has a limited amount of time, he reads the posts of those known to violate the FPP. The point has been made that there are 50 some odd moderators here, why aren't THEY deleting those other posts? If they are so offensive, why not?

Point 2.....have you read the FPP and have you compared the posts with the FPP? Anti or X-JWs are more likely to espouse anti or X-JW viewpoints, viewpoints that ridicule JWs faith, or viewpoints that attempt to persuade JWs to leave their religion. Read the FPP.

Point 3.... I cannot reveal his posting name.

Point 4. He has been deleting regularily since I have kown him to be a moderator, it was just in the past year that h2o felt that the posts were out of control and asked it's moderators to be more vigilant in moderating the board.

Point 5.....Rick and H2O should be more clear on the FPP, h2o and it's purpose (I couldn't agree more). However, since they keep patting him on the back and telling him to keep doing what he is doing, doesn't that tell you something?

I don't think this is a personal vendetta against anyone. I certainly think the issue with COMF got way out of control, but I'm sure even COMF will admit to being a little on the antagonistic side ("BIG MAN" that he is!).

I think you are barking up the wrong tree. M14 doesn't run this site. If h2o is happy with what he deletes despite the uproar when he does it, then he must be doing what they want. I just can't see them keeping someone who is NOT doing what they want and then putting up with the fallout to boot. Does that make sense to you? He's an anonymous e-mail address to them. When he deletes there is friction on the board, yet they keep him. Why? Perhaps because they are happy with what he is doing. H2O is a pretty big site, I somehow doubt they would put up with M14 using it for a "personal vendetta" if that is truly what was happening.

I'm just trying to be reasonable in this sitution Jason. My healh club had an "Open" house the other day. It was for non-members who wished to check out what we had available, ask questions, perhaps join. It was not for owners of other clubs to come and solicit members at the same time, even though it DID say "open". All I mean by that is that the term does have various uses. I'm not comparing h2o to my health club. Maybe h2o should clarify exactly what they want this open forum used for.

This is my opinion Jaz, you are obviously welcome to yours.
Regards,
~gc~
