JANEY - : A Greek Grammar by William W. Goodwin says: "A Greek word has as many syllables as it has separate vowels or diphthongs."--Page 24.

JAN - See bolded word.

Good example of shooting yourself in the foot.

Not only does Jan completely ignore my citation of Goodrick and Strong, but he locks himself in the shackles of buffoonery when he says that I shoot myself in the foot. Jan do you know what the word SEPARATE means?

It means that the "i" is SEPARATE from the "e" and that they are each a separate syllable.

When you learn to count and address arguments without insults please let us know.

But I would prefer that you just stop posting. After all, I have plenty of material for my web site and I am starting to feel sorry for you!

Janey
