J, I couldn't have put it any better. Conversion to any religion should be motivated purely by a passion for Truth, and shouldn't be adulterated by any lesser interest, like pleasing a potential partner. God calls us to serve him "in spirit and in truth." If you feel strongly that you wish to become a Jehovah's Witness, then by all means, go ahead. But don't do it in an indecisive, lukewarm spirit.
