I just now loaded the message board and swiftly scrolled in search of "warning" posts....because I like to read those! It occurred to me that perhaps Rick's idea of a warning is really serving as an advertisement: "Read Me". I'll
admit that not everyone is as childish as I am, but I never would have bothered with Alex's post if I hadn't seen M13's warning there. So what's happening? Alex is allowed to reword his post within a given amount of time, but meanwhile
the stuff sits there, still offensive, until we can't bother scrolling down that far? And only then it finally gets deleted?
Am I telling you something you don't already know?
I recall one message board that lists the infringements at the top of the board, no link to an FPP, just a list of requirements for posting. The FPP is right in front of posters' faces.
Perhaps the posts can be deleted with the moderator comments and then the person can repost/reword if they
so choose. That way the post is gone,we know where to find them, but there is moderator accountability.
