Moderator 14, from our email correspondence and the amount of time he devotes, is a very dedicated brother who really wants to see H2O work. If he didn't, then why hasn't he indiscriminately removed every single post criticizing the Society?
My perception of this brother is he is willing to sacrifice his limited time in an attempt to save H2O from falling into a situation where it's one-sided to the opposite extreme. He obviously doesn't want another www.witnesses.net or he would have left H2O and gone there to moderate.
Consider also he is one of the few who is actively moderating. The board has experienced problems now and again, and he and a few other dedicated moderators are there! Problems such as attacks with illegal and porn materials and racial hate postings, this moderator and a few others have been around to remove. I'm not intending to criticize the other moderators, whose lives might have taken them on absences from time to time. During the time they aren't absent, it might have turned out they felt no posts violated the FPP.
I understand you were writing this post when an administrator put the topic and file up during the day, and there was a misunderstanding that you ignored the new FPP amendment draft. That is obviously a misunderstanding and I appreciate you clearing the air. Thanks again for taking the time to document the situation with links so it doesn't take half a day for me to wade through these posts. Perhaps both you, and the moderator(s) in question, will learn from this experience. I'll try to interject some comments.
Just so you know, I'm still behind on getting Liberal Elder's forum setup completely with his files, and other H2O chores, I have to put this in line next to these tasks. It may take a while, but I'll definitely look at these to see how we can better improve the FPP.
