There is no connection whatsoever between www.witnesses.net and www.hourglass2.org.

Although I appreciated Obed's response to H2O, I took this as his own personal opinion to which he's entitled! We're not all clones or automatons. Obed has done a fine job of running a site for those who absolutely don't want to leave the Watchtower Society. That is not "pablum" to prepare those for heartier "food" elsewhere including H2O!

The difference between www.witnesses.net and www.hourglass2.org is like day and night. The former is for those who are satisfied with things just the way they are, and willing to unquestioningly place their faith in the men who presently run the Watchtower Society. It also draws those who want to be around other JWs who are "likeminded" in believing it's impossible for the Watchtower Society to ever make a mistake.

The later is for those who see problems in the Watchtower Society based on historical facts, and don't want to bury their head in the sand. They want to rectify he situation rather than tear down their brothers and sisters in the organization. H2O is also for those willing to unquestioningly place their faith in God instead of the men who presently run the Watchtower Society. H2O doesn't ban those who believe otherwise because we believe that it isn't Christian to putting a muzzle on those who believe differently to ourselves.

There is no connection between the two sites.

Those moderators who resigned on the basis of Obed's post on H2O have disgraced, not Obed or www.witnesses.net, but themselves -- if that is indeed the only reason they resigned. They showed a great deal of immaturity as Christians and adults, if in fact their actions were governed by the simple airing of a personal opinion by the founder of www.witnesses.net. Every Jehovah's Witness is entitled to their own personal opinion. Judging them on this basis is a form of totalitarianism, and has no basis in pure Christianity. Of course true Christians know this, and so in my opinion it was good these false Jehovah's Witnesses left www.witnesses.net if in fact the site is for true JWs. I would think such a site would want to screen out those who are not spiritually mature or are of questionable standing in the congregation.

I hope this clears up any misconceptions about false notions.

Rick
