Christian stance on an issue, let's say for example the issue of alternative service, then one would not make any decisions about it either way. To do so would be 'running ahead' of God, the way that the WTS did on this issue. Or the
vaccination issue. Or the organ transplant issue. These are all issues that the WTS issued definitive statements on, then ended up reversing their stance years later. If they had simply left these issues alone until such time as they had
'full understanding', then the 'meat in due season' concept could be argued more logically from a scriptural standpoint. In other words, if they are who they claim to be(Jehovah's spirit- guided channel) they would have left these issues
alone until God gave them the understanding to make a ONE-TIME policy regarding these issues that wouldn't have to be changed at a later date.
