We all know of the 12/1/81 Watchtower which had the

It cites examples and shows how the then current beliefs had been arrived at by "tacking". Then follows this gem, supporting any position the Society might ever choose to take, however diametrically opposed, or compromising it might be:

This has been termed the thesis
(proposition), antithesis (opposing proposition) and synthesis (a combining of the two).
In fact it was suggested by G_P_J on witnesses.net that this is the basis for a defined course of action on the part of the Society in establishing a course of action. ie.:
first: thesis is established
second:"then" antithesis - the opposite extreme
finally: somewhere in between, synthesis.
So there you have it. No need to be confused any longer. The inner-workings of the Slave have been disclosed.
Now, I'd suggest that he's just run ahead of the slave a good mile or three (or km if he is not in the US) - what do you think? Would the slave ever own up to this? Was the "wink" at the bottom of the page suggesting his post was in jest?
