I've noticed and I'm noticing that a great many JW's have a very elite, smug, complacent, proud attitude about themselves and the religion.
I still remember one time when I was still studying and I attended a Tuesday meeting at the hall. I was wearing a trendy sweater and casual attire. I tried to strike up some conversations with the kids across the hall, but it seemed that these tie-and-suit dressed kids were more interested in carring conversations with other JW kids than meet a interested person.
This is interesting in dire contrast with what I had been told from the beginning from elders, "that you must have a humble attitude", "that you must be humble."
Anybody care to comment?
