You emailed my wife recently. She didn't reply because she was hesitant to get involved in genuine apostate activity. After prayerful consideration she and I have decided not to report you and the "Boss" under your real names to the headquarters staff. She sends her Christian love and looks forward to working as a volunteer next to you at the next D.C. this summer. Your fruits show you as fine Christians and your "reform" efforts are with a genuine desire to improve the spiritually weak situation we all share.
Several recent events in God's household have come very close to stumbling my wife and I. The last 9 months between our fellowship at the D.A. and today have been a spiritually growing experience. Many a time I came very close to turning you and the "Boss" in. I was initially appalled at your participation on this site and your even thinking my wife was "reform minded" enough to confide this to. I only regret leaving you two on pin cushions wondering if the C.O. would ever pull the "Boss" aside into a committee. Shame on us both. Rest easy. We have decided not to turn you two in.
Many at Bethel have changed and are, sadly to admit, waiting for the G.B. to die off of old age before moving to effect major changes. There is a lot of legal aspects to this, dear Sister, as you probably know. I better not say more. Know this, that many at Bethel and the surrounding N.Y. congregations involved in its administration are waiting with anticipation for the hourglass to turn over, marking a new chapter in our organization's history. Many are watching this site, and I thank you for having the courage to tell my wife about it. First it was misery, but we are starting to realize the pain is the result of much needed change.
I was touched by the "Boss" account of giving a funeral to that young boy who committed suicide on that sunny Saturday. I wish that we had known but
then again we might have turned you all in! We both loved that young brother and deep down agree we blame the Society's hardhearted letter-of-the-law attitude for his death. Could I turn back the hands of time, we would have been sitting
next to you on that day, and standing next to you at the young brother's grave site at the cemetary.
