Hi NY Elder,

Let me say that I assumed that you were a regular. I guess I was wrong on that - sorry. Nonetheless welcome to H2O. Stick about and feel free to contribute.

: Was the post addressed to you (sigh)?

This is a public forum - posts are not addressed. I had assessed that you were airing dirty laundry in public, which was unusual for a NY Elder to do, so I wondered if there was something more behind your post than a "private" communication with SNH.

It occured to me that you could have had a lot of other private ways of discussing the laundry (ie. ask them to post their email address for instance, and then emailing them) without doing it on H2O.

: A, their email is getting bounced back due to "server error" and B, we each abhor "organizational politics."

Fair enough, although I'm having trouble seeing how abhoring "organizational politics" is good reason to air the organizations dirty laundry in public.

:: 'so, what was the real purpose of this post? '

:Reform.

Right. Let's discuss how H2O can help you with your reform (aka Organizational Politics?) agenda?

: Bouncing question back to you? (May I guess the answer has no relationship to true Christian reform but is along the lines of promoting mass
apostasy from the Christian faith?)

No. You may not guess. Spend more time on H2O and see what people's agenda is. Their agenda may be no more than an interest in JWs (as mine), with a view to being able to have knowledgeable discussions with them.

I am intrigued though, as to what consititutes "true Christian reform" in your mind. This would be a good subject for another post to further your agenda.

: You threw out an insulting innuendo on org. politics dressed as a question, but I haven't seen your true agenda on this site. So, what is the real purpose of your posting?

Give me a break! On the one hand you say that the purpose of your post was "reform" and on the other you take issue with me asking (genuinely) whether this was about org. politics (like reform).

The real purpose of my posting was to ask the question, which you have answered.

Thanks NYE - these are the questions and answers from what I could tell:

Q. what was the real purpose of the post?
A. reform
Q. is there something you would like to tell us?
A. Yes. H2O is part of the reform activity and many at Bethel and in NY congregations are watching without criticism. Perhaps other things too - like "true Christian reform is inevitable" when the GB die off, and legal issues are resolved.
Q. Is it a post about "SNH and the Boss" or org. politics?
A. organizational politics, abhored as they may be, they are necessary to accomplish reform.

NYE - this is not the Kingdom Hall - why didn't you just come out and tell us. Putting it together like a jigsaw puzzle is a waste of time in this reform process, especially as your anonymity is protected (here) - even if not by SNH (although I'm sure she'll look after you).

Love,
Andrew.
