Hi all,
I wonder how much the average JW knows about the actual agreement between the Bulgarian govt. and the WTS. I looked up the agreement from the European Commission on Human Rights web site and then compared it to the official
press release from the WTBS. Has the WTS, to anyone's knowledge, printed the actual agreement word for word, in any of their publications for the rank & file to read?
I find it hard to believe that JWs could believe the WTS's claim that
the official position on the blood issue has not been changed in Bulgaria, if they were to read the actual agreement and then compare it with past articles in the WT saying that to willingly accept or donate blood would be a
disfellowshipping offence.
The only conclusion that I can draw is that the rank & file don't really know what the agreement says, and the WTS would like to keep it that way.
