Hi everyone,
I just feel like doing a little bragging tonight, I took two finals today, and one yesterday, bringing me within 2 credits of a BS in Electrical Engineering. I have also been accepted to graduate school, where I will work as a teaching assistant during the FWS terms, an as a research assistant this Summer. This assistantship means that the College pays my tuition and a small salary, greatly reducing the cost of school.
Now to put this on topic for this board. Anyone who is sorry that they missed out on school because of the JW polices toward higher education should really look into going. I know that it looks almost impossible from where you are, but, from where I am, I can clearly see a path that a great number of you could take. There is a great deal of assistance here in the States for students, but you must ask for it, and know how to ask. Now is the time to start planning for Fall, 2000. If anyone has any questions about how to do this, please ask me, and I will share what I know.
