Al, I keep hearing all this dating methods but rarely is ther ever more than 1 method used. We definitely get the message that you are blown away by science. We are just not as enamored outselves.
Believe and acceptance of either side of this issue requires a leap of faith and I would expect heaven and he11 to freeze over (I don't believe in he11) before you night acknowledge that. You may not even understand it.
I reccommend Philosophy 101. You need to understand more about what knowledge really is or isn't and what we can really know for certain. Physics shows us that we are walking darkly through a mystery.

It is a shame you can not recognize where it is you are treading.
Either side is legitimate and you can't accept that.
