Hi- My "experts" are The Oxford Companion to Archaeology. It's a 1500 page reference book with detailed definitions, more like a Archaeological Encyclopedia. I suppose we could line the experts up. That's just what it said. It's copyrighted 1999.
Negative light. Well- hey, that's what the book said. I've only recently learned that I have been wrong Not to be suspicious of religious bias. There is a great deal of it. I know myself. I know that I have no personal reason to be prejudiced. I have no agenda, no axe. I read this book yesterday and I am fully aware of the fact that Biblical apologists are willing to ignore facts and make unwarranted generalities. It makes no difference to me, but this has been my experience.
You have the other little fact that they ignore and promote ignorance of astronomical volumes of Archaeological data that has accumulated over the past twenty-five years. It doesn't match the preferred interpretation. btw, I read some of - I can't remember his name now. The Phd author of a book defending the Bible I think you were recommending. What his name?
