Man, Holyfield really had the Lord on his side last night. Obviously, Jesus had something to do with two of the three judges not scoring the fight properly. Now, to keep this post from becoming "off topic"...

Does anyone here (JW or "interested") believe God/Jesus intervenes in the affairs of sincere believers? (Luke 18:41; John 14:14) What is it about personal testimony that spurs that kind of faith? We've all heard of obviously fake healings and miracles in these last days derived from demons posing as Jesus in the fundie community, right? Thing is, I've also heard of JWs with similar "miracle" stories ("Jehovah was with me when I was stranded and provided blah blah blah...," "I was veering off the cliff and my steering wheel miraculously guided itself back on to the road...") Is it primarily or totally emotionality or is there really something legitimate going on? Convince me.
