I apologize for not responding to emails sooner, and falling behind on acknowledging posts. The problem is that there seems to be an exponentially increasing number sending emails, replying to my posts or posting to me.
Over the past few months I have been between jobs, and this exacted its financial and emotional toll. I have a new job but it has involved long hours. I'm starting to suffer from constant fatigue.
I realize that the best I can do with H2O is maintain it (by culling its size every few weeks and repairing occasional damage to the board caused by extremely heavy traffic). Aside from that, I can try to reply to emails (but I might reply days to weeks later or not at all).
So you understand the situation better, here is a rough summary of what I can and cannot do:
Can Do's
Can Possibly Do's
Cannot Do's
I can't convey the serious limitation of time for H2O. Without meaning to brag, I think my extensive training and expertise with computers has allowed me to accomplish an incredible amount with limited time. I'm fast and accurate with everytime pertaining to computers and can accomplish a great deal, but I've reached my saturation level. Last year I had a lot more energy but lately I have experience severe fatigue. I would rather keep H2O open with all its faults than to shut it down to satisfy some perfectionists. Regretfully this means the level of board quality is going to fluctuate much like the price of gasoline in some areas of the world. This means those who stick with H2O must have strong stomachs and an affinity for rollercoaster rides through cyberspace. Over time, with Jehovah's blessing, this will stabilize. Those who are unable to cope with a highly unstable and unpredictable environment are urged to consider more comfortable and less turbulent accommodations aboard Witnesses.Net (http://www.witnesses.net/) (and thanks, Obed, for your heartfelt reply in a topic to me down below).
If you can all fasten your seat belts, observe the "FPP Signs" and bear with me each considering yourself as an extended member of H2O's security team -- reporting violations and not feeling hurt if your email or post isn't acknowledged (but knowing I see it, appreciate it, and act upon it as time allows) -- then I believe this can work.
Thank you all for your understanding, monetary support of H2O (without which we would have closed months ago), and love for one another. I wish I could personally thank someone who recently contributed $50 on their credit card without telling H2O (so we could make sure their contribution was applied). It appeared on our billing statement. Every small contribution helps to fuel H2O and keep her flying for the benefit of all.
