David Petzold and Tracey Nearmy

Tracey and Dave were both working at the Kalgoorlie Miner when I first joined the newspaper in 2003. It was great having them around. Both are artistic and so talented. It was very inspiring to be with them, to talk of travel to faraway places and dream of a better world.

We hung out together a lot. I was very sad when they finally left Kalgoorlie-Boulder.

Now they are based in Bondi Beach, Sydney, living an exciting life in the fast lane.
