Living God Church Statement of Faith: Sovereignty of God God shall rule on the ministries in His Sovereign power. He shall be respected and done with every knee bowing down to His will and Word shall prevail on all matters concerning the Ministries and stand at the final Authority. We Believe: In one God, eternal everlasting in three persons: The Father, The Son, and the Holy Spirit, alone to be worshipped and served. In God the Holy Spirit, sent by the Father and the Son to work among mankind in our time, bringing conviction of sin, and that He indwells all believers, enabling them to live a Godly life, to obey God's Wordand to be a witness to the world of the saving Grace of God's Word. That all mankind have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and therefore deserves the punishment of a just God; and that because of the exceeding sinful human nature, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation. That everyone who turns to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith is justified freely from his sins by the Grace of God and has eternal life. That in the end, the bodies of all men will be raised from the dead, the believers to live everlasting, and the unbelievers to everlasting damnation. In the water baptism, We baptize in the name of the Jesus Christ and infants are blessed but not baptized.(Acts 2:37-39; Mark 10:13) To obey the Government offices since the Church and the government work hand-in-hand as we also believe the government officers were ordained by God. (Romans 13:1-7) That God is a healer and we also allow Christians to go to the hospital for treatment (Exodus 15:26) In giving tithes according to scriptures (Malachi 3:7-10, Offerings Deuteronomy 16:16; Acts 20:35) In Commemorating the Lord's Supper, (I Corinthians 11:23-33; Matthew 26:26) To be faithful to all Living God Teaching (Doctrine) We don't believe in: Polygomy (marrying more than one wife) since at the beginning, God created man and woman. (Gen. 2:27; Gen. 2:21-24; Matthew 19:4) In drinking beer or smoking any kind of tobacco or drugs, which destorts the human brain because these are the lusts of the flesh. (Galations 5:18-21) |
