HEY!  Welcome to VE7LFN

    Name here is Larry. QTH is Castlegar, British Columbia, Canada.    

I'm located in Castlegar BC , about 45 min. north of the border and about 7 hours east of Vancouver. I moved here in May 2005 to take on the job Protection Officer with the BC Government.

I have been a Ham since 1992 and have my Canadian Advanced license.

I previously lived in Pemberton, Dease lake and Vanderhoof BC

  • 80M Delta loop which works very well as an all band using the antenna tuner in the 450.

  • 102" whip for 10m mobile

  • 17M half square &  1/4 wave vertical

  • Cushcraft A505S 6M Yagi

  • Cushcraft A627013S 6/2/.7M Yagi

  • Explorer 14 with 40M add on (not up yet)

Misc

I like to try and give accurate reports and so have the following printed out and posted by the radio for quick reference. Yeah its subjective, but signal reports are in the ear of the listener...
