Maple Lane Kero
Maple Lane Kero is a perlino Welsh Cob stallion, standing 14H at age 4. He comes from super bloodlines, and has a wonderful combination of perfect temperament, stunning movement and an unusual color.

Kero was started under saddle as a 3 year old, and has been a joy to work with so far. He learns quickly and has such an even temperament. His canter is his best gait with a lovely uphill movement. We initially trailered him locally and exposed him to typical East Texas events, including sortings and rodeos, which he took in stride.
Kero began his show career in dressage in late 2007, competing at two recognized shows. His high score so far at Training Level is a 66%, and at the last show he placed first and second in the Open Training Level classes. He is being campaigned by Pam Grace who is a well known and successful Grand Prix rider and trainer.
Alaina Wright, 2, shown above requested a ride after waiting patiently on a cold day during our photo shoot, and we felt it was the least we could do. She was later rewarded with her own palamino cob by Kero, shown below. Kero will be offered at public stud in 2008 with a stud fee of $1500. He is approved for AI by the WPCSA. He will produce 100% palomino, buckskin or smokey black foals when bred to non-grey mares. Grey mares will have a 50% chance of producing grey. Mares carrying a dilute gene (ie. palomino, buckskin, or smokey black) will also have a chance of producing cremello or perlino when bred to Kero.
We were pleased to welcome Kero's first 2 foals in 2007. Above left is a section C filly out of the palomino A mare Divide's Flower. Above center and right is a palomino cob colt out of the bay section D mare Nocturn's Holiday Sensation.
