Evangelical missionaries often quote certain ambiguous passages in the Holy Qur`an, usually without mentioning or even knowing their contexts, to prove this.
Unfortunately, those same passages are often also those on which so called "extremists" or "muslim fundamentalists", often people from a Wahhabi/Salafi/Saudi - educational background, focus to proove the righteousness of their strict political agenda.
However, God himself in his Holy Qur`an has forbidden us to focus on ambiguous verses, he wants us to focus on those straightforward messages that he has laid down in a clear way in his Holy Book. The other verses refer to special cases and occasions and should be interpreted according to their context!! The Holy Qur`an and the sayings of the noble Prophet Muhammad contain clear advices, there are verses which can without any doubt be called "the very core of Islam", and these verses and sayings are beyond any dogmatic disputes.
I will now quote some verses from the Holy Qur`an and some sayings of noble Prophet Muhammad (s.a.s.) to disspell the wrong idea of Islam as a religion of hate.
Islam is a beautiful religion of love and compassion, a path to enlightenment and a giver of strength in avery situation in life. All praise be to God!
