Public Transportation

Public transportation is available in all major areas of the US.  In the Philadelphia area, public transportation is called SEPTA (South Eastern Public Transportation Authority).  SEPTA provides bus, train, and subway transportation.  

In other cities, similar types of transportation are typically available.  To find a local transportation system in your city of interest, go to that city's chamber of commerce web site and search for public transportation.

The benefits of public transportation include low cost, no traffic, and guaranteed (in most cases) on-time service.  Most public transportation systems provide reduced cost weekly and monthly passes to daily commuters.  Discounts are also typically available for students, the disabled, and the elderly.
