* Scenes from last week are shown, where Al Wilson ceases
to be. Dawn is sitting in a big chair talking about how her life was so perfect,
but now Al is gone. She says despite all of the interference from his family they
still feel in love. She says Al was a good man, and loved the public, that is why
they had their wedding and honeymoon on TV. She says tonight she will continue that
and have his funeral shown.
* Los Guerreros vs. John Cena and B2 for WWE Tag Championship
Cena comes out rapping how the Guerrero's suck because they are Mexican, you know
the usual. Eddie and Cena start off the match. Chavo lands a drop toe hold followed
by a drop kick. Chavo tags in. Chavo drop kicks Cena then covers for 2. Eddie tags
in. Eddie beats in Cena with his elbow. Eddie nails a back suplex to Cena then tags
in Chavo. Chavo lands a snap suplex followed by a drop toe hold. B2 is tagged in.
Eddie is tagged in. B2 takes a few shots at Eddies stomach. Cena sends Eddie over
the top and out of the ring.. Cena attacks from the outside. Eddie is rolled back
in, B2 suplexes him and covers for 2. Cena is tagged in, he covers for two then puts
Eddie in a front head lock. Chavo tags in and is man handled by Cena with a snap
suplex. Cena covers but Chavo kicks out. Chavo drop kicks Cena, who tags in B2. Eddie
also tags in. Cena jumps into the ring followed by Chavo. Chavo sends Cena through
the ropes, then B2. Chavo goes flying over the ropes and Cena and B2 catch him. Eddie
follows but only injures himself. Back in the ring. B2 is knocked down and Chavo
nails a classic Eddie Guerrero frog splash. Chavo covers for the win and to retain
the tag belts. Cena yells at B2 after the match. B2 levels Cena. Some guy comes out
and attacks B2. Cena and the mystery guy continue to double team B2 until Cena feels
like leaving.
* The replay the past weeks where Benoit gets his ass kicked by Team Angle. Benoit
is doing an interview where he talks about his sacrifices and injuries which he made
so he could come this route to the WWE championship. He calls Angle one of the most
competitive and aggressive athletes he has ever competed with. He says he feels like
Angle is at 100% now, but after what's been going on, Angle wont be 100% on Sunday.
Benoit makes some stupid comment about toothless aggression.
* Steph McMahon comes out to talk about Undertaker returning at Royal Rumble.. She
starts talking about Big Show and Lesnar's match on Sunday. She says they both want
to fight each other, but that isn't going to happen. She says she will pair A-Train
with Big Show and let Lesnar pick a partner for a match tonight.
* Rikishi vs. Bill Demott
Demott comes out saying that he is sick of hearing about how people say he has only
beaten on small guys. The match begins. Rikishi hip toss Demott then covers for 2.
Rikishi goes to work on Demott's arm and lock sin a submission. Demott powers out
with clubbing blows to Rikishi's face. Demott rams his shoulder into Rikishi. Demott
stomps on Rikishi in ther corner then chokes him with the ring ropes. Rikishi tries
to counter Demott but just gets beat down and put in a arm bar submission. Rikishi
starts pummeling Demott's face. Demott rams Rikishi into the steel post then rolls
him up for 2. Rikishi kicks Demott in the face and levels him to the matt. Rikishi
finally covers and Demott kicks out. Rikishi throws Demott into the turn buckle and
follows up with something that Demott counters and rolls up into a cover for three.
* Funaki is interviewing Kidman. Kidman says that Shannon Moore is brain washed by
Matt Hardy. Matt comes up and says that Kidman is just jealous. matt says Matt Hardy
Version 1 is the defini tion of role model. Matt says that Funaki is a hypocrite
since he claims to be Smackdown's number one announcer and can barley speak English.
Matt says that Funaki needs a shot of Matt-itude. Matt proceeds to punch Funaki in
the face which results in an all out brawl between Moore, Hardy, Kidman and Funaki.
* Nunzio w/ Jamie Noble & Nidia vs. Tajiri
Nunzio drop Tajiri immediately. Tajiri starts to beat on Nunzio's back. Nunzio attempts
a hip toss but Tajiri counters with a heel kick. he covers, Nunzio kicks out. Nunzio
attempts a cross body but is caught in mid air. Nunzio battles out and attacks Tajiri.
Nunzio locks in an arm submission. Nunzio attempts To kicks Tajiri but Tajiri kicks
in the back of the head. Nunzio some how covers Tajiri. He kicks out. Tajiri's arm
is attacked more by Nunzio. Nunzio is kicked in the back. Tajiri grabs Nunzio and
spins him around. Nunzio nails a German suplex. Tajiri nails Nunzio in the face with
his elbow. Tajiri kicks Nunzio in the face and covers for two. Tajiri's shoulder
is nearly jarred out of socket. Tajiri turns it around and locks in the tarantula.
He kicks Noble off the apron and sprays the green mist in Nidia's face. Nunzio takes
the opportunity to attack with a bull dog type maneuver. He covers for the win.
* Cena and Redd Dog are interviewed about what they did to B2. Cena raps about how
B2 was the weak link in the chain and they took care of it. And then about how everyone
has their day and today's was his news partners.
* Dawn Marie is milling about the funeral home. She approaches the casket and tells
the undertaker( the real funeral home kind, not the motorcycle riding wrestler) that
everything looks beautiful then she starts to cry. the undertaker asks if there is
anything she wants to tell Al's family. She mumbles something and he leaves. She
lifts the casket lid and starts talking to Al. She says he doesn't look so good.
She says that he looks pale, and he looked better when they carried him out o the
gurney? Then she cries about why he left her. She pets him and mourns.
* Stephanie is on the phone talking about Bischoff possibly getting fired. We learn
she is speaking to Shane. Brock Lesnar comes in. She hangs up. He says he doesn't
need a tag partner. She says she wants him to beat Big Show and win the Rumble, so
she isn't gonna put him in a position to be outnumbered tonight. he says that is
fine, but tells the partner to meet him in the ring.
* Big Show w/ Heyman and A-Train vs. Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio
Heyman gets on the mic and reminds us of the big match between Show and Lesnar at
Rumble. He says only the winner of the match can participate in the Rumble. Heyman
prattles on about how Show is going to win. The match starts and Brock F-5s A-Train,
Big Show comes out to choke slam Lesnar. Lesnar Takes him out of the ring. Mysterio
dials up the 619 on A-Train and covers.
* Back at the funeral home Torrie arrives. She slowly approaches the casket and peers
her beady eyes at the body.
* Matt Hardy and Shannon Moore vs. Funaki and
Matt was in the academically gifted class in elementary school. The match begins
with Funaki and Matt. Funaki whips Matt around. Matt knocks Funaki down and covers
for 2. Matt drops his elbow into Funaki's chest. Matt chokes him on the ropes. Matt
kicks Funaki in the ribs. Matt puts Funaki in a standing rear chin lock. Matt takes
Funaki down and covers for 2. Funaki lands a sunset flip and covers Matt for 2. Matt
locks in a front head lock. Matt signals for the twist of fate. Funaki counters and
runs him into the turn buckle. Funaki nails a bull dog and covers for 2. Funaki nails
a neck breaker and covers for 2. Funaki nails a drop toe hold. Funaki gets to the
top rope and tries to knock him down. Kidman grabs Shannon Moore. Funaki hits the
cross body on Matt and covers but the ref is distracted. Shannon Moore takes care
of Kidman and Matt nails the twist of fate and covers for the victory. They walked
up the ramp celebrating and Matt bitch slapped him
* Back at the funeral home Torrie is crying and Dawn calls her. Dawn says that Torrie
puts on a touching performance. Dawn says she can't believe that Torrie is going
to pretend like she loved her father. dawn says that Torrie didn't give a damn about
him. Dawn says she thinks Al died of a broken heart. Dawn says that Torrie killed
her father. Dawn delivers a MASSIVE bitch slap to Torrie. Torrie stands their stunned
for a second then delivers a slaps to of her own. A brawl breaks out which results
in the casket being knocked down. Torrie sits their in shock. Dawn creeps behind
her and whacks her with a lamp that shatters in a million pieces.
* Team Angle (Haas, Benjamin, Angle) vs. Edge and Chris Benoit 3 on 2
Benoit throws Haas out of the ring. He return promptly only to be chopped in the
chest by Benoit. Benoit calls for Angle and continues to chop at Haas. Benoit delivers
a back body drop followed by a snap suplex. Benoit knocks Haas down with a elbow
to the face. Benjamin hops in the ring a nails a low blow on Benoit. Haas locks in
an arm bar. Benoit rolls up Haas for 2. Edge is tagged in. Edge delivers a back body
drop to Haas, then has his legs pulled out from under him by Benjamin from the outside.
Angle tags in. Angle stomps on Edge and chokes him with the ropes. Angle whips Edge
into the ropes, Edge knocks Angle down. Benoit tags out. Haas and Benjamin attack.
Angle gets back in and gets on the offensive with Benoit. Angle covers for 2. Angle
nails a German suplex. Angle knocks Edge off the apron. Angle locks in the ankle
lock. Benoit counters allowing Angle to tag in Benjamin. Benoit whips Benjamin into
the turnbuckle. Benoit tags in Edge. Edge clotheslines Benjamin and covers for 2.
Edge rams his shoulder into the gut of Benjamin. Edge is sent flying out of the ring.
Angle attacks Edge. Benoit comes after Angle but is stopped. Benjamin rams Edge into
the apron of the ring. Back in the ring. Edge is suplexed then covered for 2. Haas
tags into the match. Haas drops Edge on the ropes. Haas chokes Edge ad covers for
2. Haas sends Edge face first into the turn buckle. Haas face plants Edge and covers
for two. Haas chokes Edge on the ropes. Angle takes a cheap shot at Edge. Benjamin
is tagged in. Benjamin puts Edge in a head lock. Edge battles out. Edge delivers
a neck breaker. Benjamin tags in Haas. Haas dropped his elbow on Edge and covers
for 2. Edge is whipped into the turnbuckle. Angle and Benjamin double team while
the ref is turned. Angle is tagged in. Edge battles back with a boot to Angles face.
Angle belly to belly suplex. Haas is tagged in. Haas puts Edge in a submission. Edge
kicks Haas in the head. Haas tags in Angle. Angle is clothes lined by Edge. Edge
cant make the tag and is German suplexed by Angle three times. Angle knocks Benoit
off the apron. Edge clotheslines Angle. Angle makes at tag to Benjamin. Benoit is
tagged in. Benoit knocks Benjamin down, and Hass comes ina nd is taken down by ad
elbow. Benoit suplexes Haas. Then throws him into Benjamin. Benjamin suplexes Benoit
but Benoit counters with a cross face. Angle helps Benjamin out. Benoit locks in
a cross face to Angle. Edge spears Haas. Benoit is able to lock in the cross face
again. The ref DQ's Benoit. Benoit keeps the cross face locked in. edge takes out
Haas and Benjamin from outside the ring. Benoit gets the crutch and beats Angle in
the knee. The refs hold him back long enough for team Angle to escape.
