USS LEVIATHAN

CURRENT MISSION

The LEVIATHAN has just departed from DS13 to Thizarus York, a planet in the Gorn Homeworld where the Federation Embassy is located.

The Embassy has recently been overrun by members of the Free Gorn Movement (FGM) opposed to the treaty between the Gorn and the United Federation of Planets.  Several members of the Federation Consulate have been taken as hostages.

The LEVIATHAN's primary goal is to negotiate an end to the stand-off and a successful release of the hostages.  It's secondary goal is to find out what information they can about the FGM, where the power lays, what they want and where the funding is coming from.

For this mission, the LEVIATHAN is joined by Ambassador Luciano Alberto Landor Cabrero, a highly successful and decorated Federation Ambassador, who also turns out to be the estranged father of the LEVIATHAN's own Executive Officer.

The LEVIATHAN has been pleased to welcome a number of new crew onboard recently.  Most notably being a new Commanding Officer, an experienced Helm Officer, a qualified Chief Engineer, a versatile Counselor and a specialist OSFI Liaison Officer.
