Personal Health

Enjoying life in great health and feeling great!  No heart problems, no blood pressure or cholesterol problems, no digestive problems, and no joint pain—all attributed to knowledge and lifestyle, not heredity.

Personal Fitness

Cardio sample:  Resting heart rate is 60 BPM.  Can run an hour non-stop in target heart rate range, finishing at the same speed as having started and feeling good!  
Strength & Joint Health sample:
  Can do a set of controlled squats to a 90° knee bend with 275 pounds for 20 repetitions—without any knee, back, or hip problems. 

Personal Knowledge and Experience

Based on 30 years of study and personal application, possess extensive knowledge of technologies and habits that improve and promote health and fitness.  Managed two health clubs from 1971–1973.  Upon leaving the health club industry, built a professional life in marketing for Fortune 1000 companies.  This led the course for various periods of “fitness to flab” typical to the corporate career challenges.  Together with the general ups and downs of life, a method for dovetailing fitness into a fast-moving lifestyle became paramount.  Thus began the evolutionary process from which many clients benefit from today .  In 1995, completed the A.F.A.A. personal trainer certification course. Since that time, have worked as a sales manager at a health club chain, then as a personal trainer at a one-to-one studio.  Currently present an enlightening and "user-friendly" wellness seminar, in addition to serving individual clients or groups as an independent personal fitness consultant and trainer.  Specialize in an effective and original system (see below) that helps clients reach their personal best fitness level while they improve their lean muscle mass and body shape.  Exude a motivational and informative style whereby clients develop the knowledge and general health habits that can serve them for a lifetime. 

Personal Creations

  · Created the unique “Scientific Stak© workout in 1993 as a technology to trigger maximum muscle stimulation, while accelerating recovery and sustaining joint and tendon health. This is accomplished by a synergistic series of muscle group strategies in a rotating training plan, working the entire body three different ways over the course of nine very effective training routines. The routine order and specific exercise arrangements eliminate traditional plateaus. This total strategy has been proven to produce measurable results in muscle strength and shape.  It can be customized to individual needs at any level.

  ·  Developed the outline, “Dietary Guidelines for Easier Healthy Eating”.  Because knowledge influences choices, this helpful summary based on volumes of evidence, simplifies what to target and what to avoid. This added leverage empowers one to make healthy food selections almost as if by 2nd nature.

  · Created a unique “Food & Mood Diary” nutritional guidance system whereby clients learn to overcome personal dietary setbacks by associating activities and moods with food selections over the course of a day.

  ·  Created a fitness and wellness seminar entitled. “25 Essential Principles For Optimum Health, Fitness, and Body Image”. This cohesive study outline begins with appreciation for basic cellular health and body system synergism, reviews fitness improvement technologies including diet, and ultimately correlates paradigms, foundations, and life balance to one’s current condition and probable future path. It is informative by design, and is based on reality—not hype.

All of the above are integral parts of a result-producing system, which provides the means to make healthy habits enjoyable* and therefore lasting*—most notably, integrating into a lifestyle.

Personal “High”

To empower individuals by showing them just how easy it really is to be fit and to feel good.  And how this way of living can become as effortless as the bad habits or lack of knowledge that formerly may have caused their fitness downfall.  

It is a real joy to observe people exciting themselves once they reach a level of health and fitness that they may have thought to be unobtainable.  Even more so, it is re-assuring to know that they are gaining the knowledge to live at a higher level for the rest of their lives!
