"Ed" has been picked up for a second season. And the second season will air. This is not to save the second season!
A fan runs this site. I am in no way affliated with the show.

This site was created to be a kind of one-stop shop on how you, the fans, can help keep "Ed" on the air! We want the whole story of our favorite Stuckeyvillians to continue on into more than two seasons. So how do we do that?

We do as much as we possibly can (short of taking over minds at NBC) and make our voices heard!

So how do we make our voices heard? Well, I'm glad you asked, because it's all here! Everything you need to know on how to help "Ed". It is possible to save a show, just by how the fans support it. (Look to "Once and Again", "Party of Five", and "Felicity" as examples).

  • Tell people to watch it.
  • Make references to it in conversations.
  • Get creative! Create little posters on your computer that you can print out onto printer paper and hang it in your dorm room, office, cubicle, where ever!
  • Join the letter writing campaign!
  • Invite people over to watch "Ed", even if it's a rerun.
  • Have "Ed" marathon parties and invite people to watch it, if you were lucky enough to catch the season on videotape.
  • Order food at restaurants by saying "Burger Me"--Thanks Todd Troutman!!
  • Wear Stuckeybowl apparell!!!--Thanks Erin!!
  • [Buy] the official Stuckeybowl Mini pins ($3.95 each)--Thanks Jason Schankman!!
  • ...send videotapes of Ed fans to NBC, and on the tapes, have the fans show and tell the NBC people what big fans of Ed they are.--Thanks Kirsten!!
  • Say "Lettouse" when you go in the grocery store to people who work there--Thanks Brittany!!
  • Could we make a petition or something on a Stuckeybowl shirt?--Thanks Erin!!
  • Paper cut out of full body armor with flowers in his hand. Toy stethoscopes, bowling scroe cards, paper cut outs of bowling shoes, paper bowling balls.--Thanks Tara!!
  • Perhaps we could send in salt & pepper shakers in honor of Phil and what not. Or make some karoke video tapes like Ed did for Carol.--Thanks Erin!!
  • Go to bowling alleys- and mention it to true bowling fanatics. They might get hooked!--Thanks Annie!!
  • I posted fliers on the windows of my car, where the backseat is. They are seen by hundreds of people each day!--Thanks Susan!!
  • Call our bosses Bosco.--Thanks Becky!!
  • Promote bowling as something to do on a weekend night besides just going to a bar and getting sloshed. You can still get sloshed and bowl, you know...--Thanks Mike!! I think...j/k
  • Tell people, "$10 if you watch ED."--Thanks Eric!!
  • Send pictures of everyone's bowling balls--Thanks Erica!!
  • Have a Stuckeybowl night at your local bowling ally.--Thanks Ryan!!
  • Have an ED themed party to introduce everyone to it. Give everyone little bowling pins or balls and only have food that's been featured on an episode of Ed.--Thanks Breanna!!
  • Take video tape that are like all "Ed" memories and stuff so people have a short preveiw of how good "Ed" is, just like Ed did to get the landmark for Stuckeybowl--Thanks Kim!!
  • We could send in some bowling score cards with like the characters names on them or something--Thanks H20!!
  • Buy your own bowling alley in his honour.--Thanks Geoff!! (ha-ha! I enjoyed this one.)
  • If you are of age, everytime you go out for drinks order at least one shirley temple!--Thanks Maria!!
  • Name your new puppy after a character from Ed! I also have Ed wallpaper on my home and work computers.--Thanks Jenny!! (She has named her puppy Ed, cute idea!)
  • 1) Send NBC waffles in the mail. 2) Hire a sky-writer to write "Watch Ed: NBC, Wednesdays at 8" in the sky. 3) If you are a lawyer, cite various cases shown on Ed as support for cases you are trying. 4) Say things to people like: "Do you like sex, watch Ed." Re: Phil Stubbs--Thanks Pete!! (Go Pete!)
  • Remind people: WEDnesday is Ed day for a reason!--Thanks Lorraine!!
  • Sit with people and make them watch it.--Thanks Justin!!
  • Have "Ed" or "lucky ball" or some show referrence put on your bowling ball in place of your name! (like when they drill the holes). Then, take a picture of your ball and send it along with a lengthy letter on why Ed needs to stay.--Thanks Jenni!!
  • Organize a "Happy Days" look alike night at your local bowling alley, but instead do "Ed" character look alike night with people that look nothing like the main characters.--Thanks Christine!!
  • If you have a circle of friends that like Ed give each person an Ed name ex: people call me Ed and my girlfriend's name is Nancy--Thanks Kyle!!
  • We can come up with "$10 Bets" and send them in.--Thanks Peyton!!

  • We can write in "Ed Stevens" for every public position when we vote......--Thanks Josh!!
  • Do $10 dares EVERYWHERE! Tell people it's from the wonderful show "Ed". They become interested and watch it, plus if you are like me you become rich at the same time!!!--Thanks Rachel!!
  • Play Outragiacs on everyone & If you have a poodle, shave it!--Thanks Tredanse!!
  • Make cards like Nancy "made up" on the episode where she decides between family and career. "I'm sorry to hear that you are homeless" or along those veins such as "I'm happy to hear you went to Stuckeyville". Send those cards to NBC (along with the $10 thing and bet them $10 keep the show on the air)--Thanks Chris!!
  • Send in mock summons papers, with everyone sending individual summons, signed by themselves, as alter ego lawyers, like, a toll booth lawyer....--Thanks Andrew!!

  • Ok recently Lauren emailed me and here's what she had to say...it's a great idea! We just need to come up with something...
"...from what I've seen of other "save our show" campaigns, we need more than letters. For example, the "Felicity" people were sending tape recorded messages like they do on the show (note: On that show Felicity talks to someone back home via a recorded tape), and for the show "Early Edition", people were sending newspaper articles and cans of cat food (note: That show was about a man who gets the newspaper a day early and a cat brings it to him). We need something that relates to Ed that we can send...It needs to be something that can easily and inexpensivly be mailed, so bowling balls are out of the question..."

With that in mind, the awesome Kyle over at Stuckeyville made this. Go get it and send it in to NBC! And if you can think of anything else you wanna send in...well go right ahead! Oh, and please don't go and try to spend it...I really don't think anyone will accept it.

Note: When you go to print it out, go up to the properties button on the print screen (the one that pops-up right before you hit OK) and put it in landscape mode. That way you'll get all of it. Just remember to put it back in portrait mode when you want to print something else!

Now that's what I'm talking about! Get creative! If you have anymore ideas, or if you can think of something to send, send the ideas my way, I'll post them here. Keep the ideas coming, there is NO bad suggestion!!

If you need to get ahold of me, e-mail me! I'll respond as fast as I possibly can!

Major Thank You's go out to the staff at Stuckeyville for providing pictures and information. I couldn't have done as much as I did without their help. And this wouldn't have been started if it hadn't been for Kyle really pushing this campaign!
Also I need to thank Help Felicity and the people over there for allowing me to use the tips that they used to help their show. If you are a fan of "Felicity" then go help them after you've supported "Ed"! *sly grin*

"Ed" fans have wanted to help
