the farm.
I bet you didn't expect this, but yes, I'm a little farmer at heart.
Here it is, the web documentation of one of the most important parts of my life, our farm. My mom's house is a little farmhouse in the woods, with a two stall barn for my little sister's pony, Emma Jane, and my new baby, Connor. We also have a slew of chickens. Might I add that they are the most audacious, personable chickens in the world. And, of course, the barn kitties, Nimbus and Red.
As of the fall of 2002, we have taken into our keep two kittens. Lysander is a gray tabby manx, and his brother Julius is a soft brained marmalade and white, with a particular affinity for playing with birds a little too roughly. Coming soon, pictures of all our fuzzy friends!

At left is Cookie, the horse that taught me how to ride. He lives up at Arrowhead farm. At right is our backyard pony, Emma Jane. She's the noble steed of my little sister Marciana.
This is Connors Cushla, the quarterhorse we bought last summer. He's finally ready to start training, and he's going to make a fantastic jumper. He's double registered as a quarterhorse and an appaloosa, 16.2h tall, and weighs 1,200 pounds.
I'll try to get more pictures up as soon as I have them. There should be some fun ones, now that I can ride again. Hey, who wants to see Les jumping over things on a big spotted horse? :oP
I also have a couple critters at my dad's house, who definitely deserve a mention, although they don't live on the farm.
This is my dog, Athena, who is now five years old. She's half chocolate lab, a quarter german shepherd, and a quarter wolf. She gets in all kinds of trouble, but she's a great dog.
This is my cat Puddin', a blue point himalayan. I've had her for a long time. I think she's fourteen, but don't quote me on that. She's my familiar, and she tends to be a little sensitive about her age.
