art
a page of raw self expression
That's right, gang. I'm not just programmed to write all night and sleep all day, I'm versatile. Here are some of my favourite drawings and such. I just christened a new sketchbook a couple of days ago, and I'm planning on drawing more often, so I should be updating this page rather regularly. The drawings are in order of chronology, as closely as my memory can serve. So if you want to see if there's anything new, just scroll on down.
And now, the gallery.

blood holocaust
(the original is a small sketch in the bottom right corner of a page, the top of which is scrawled with a quote from what sounds like a legend. it read as follows: "a great beast came out of europe. we the children of isis and osiris must die. he called his name caine. i would have cried, had i tears, but i did not. i watched them kill all my sisters first, they screamed the prayers as they swung, choking, and were made to cut out their own hearts.")
1999

harrison
(an unfinished tribute to a friend. he's never seen it. the pictures symbolize him, and words are wound around them. they're hard to read, because they're so disjointed. they read: "barefoot at night when i met a sparkling star. many were the beads he pulled into his dreads. we spoke much of confusing signs. he likes things that are warm and fuzzy, and things that are beautiful and very important, and especially things that are magically delicious. he smokes. and smokes. and smokes. so do i.")

Here's some art I did when I was sixteen, under my own skin. I got it redone on June 8th, 2002. The new art is courtesy of the best tattoo artist under the sun, as far as I'm concerned, Stephan Lanphear of Compass Rose Tattoo.
(To clear up any curiosities or sick ideas, the tattoo is on the side of my leg.)
