| "The summer I was..." This is a story about the last time I visited my family in Virginia. It describes how the plane ride was there and also how it felt when i got off the plane. |

| "Limerick" This is a poem in which it has an AABBA rhyme pattern. My limerick is about a cow who wouldn't stop. |
| "Haiku" This is a poem in which it doesn't have rhyming words and it doesn't matter how many words are in a line as lons as a 5,7,5 syllables in it. |
| "Cinquain" It has five lines with the first line havind 2 syllables and one word, the second line having 4 syllables and 2 words, the third line has 6 syllables and 3 words, and the fourth line has 8 syllables and 4 words, and 2 syllables and 1 word. My cinquain is about the sunset. |
| "Couplet" It is a poem that has two lines that rhyme and then the lines change. My poem is about two animals that get into a fight. |
| "List Peom" This is a poem in which you are just listining of ideas. Mine is about why do .... questions. |
| "Name Poem" is a poem in which you put your first name in and describe it with adjectives. |
