Welcome to the premier social and networking group for lesbian, queer and queer-friendly women in Santa Fe and Northern New Mexico! LesBeFriends members represent a diversity of women who share the common goals of creating new friendships and building a strong local women's community. We now count over 120 friendly women as members and we hope you will join us!
Individual members of LesBeFriends plan activities that are open to all LBF participants. The only limit to the types of activities is your imagination and your willingness to make a few simple event-planning arrangements! (And LBF organizers will be more than happy to assist you if you need help getting started.) Recent and upcoming events include: hikes, dinners, movies, social dancing, game and video nights, sporting events, shopping excursions, motorcycle rides, ice skating... you name it!
The LBF group e-mail ring also allows LBF members to notify each other about upcoming concerts and events of interest to our community. Best of all, there is no membership fee and the cost of participation for each event is limited to your own actual expenses (movie ticket, dinner, etc.)!
LesBeFriends is open to all women, but women only - single or partnered, new to New Mexico or longtime resident, all ages and lifestyles. However, we are not a dating service or a therapy group. We emphasize fun and friendship in equal measure. Our members plan a wide variety of events, many of which welcome children too! For more information, click here.
