ALL ABOUT ME
Wow, you care! Or you clicked on the wrong button...in either case...

Greetings. My name is Brian. I'm a 17 year-old Senior at CHS, probably the best school within a 1-mile radius of itself. Its actually not that bad compared to some of the other schools I could have attended. I'm half Taiwanese and a quarter Jewish, which means 1) I
can get you Lo Mein noodles at a very reasonable price and 2) I have lots of scholarships coming my way!

First off, even though I've lived in Florida virtually my entire life, I was not born in this state. In fact, I was born in Pennsylvannia, which makes me a Yankee. I apologize for my distant bretheren, who drive slowly in fully-loaded Cavalier rental cars and feed seagulls. I moved to Apollo Beach when I was real young (like under a year old) and I've lived in the Tampa Bay area ever since.

Things I like include kittens and moonlit walks...wait, this isn't
The Dating Game! In reality, I love cars, and not just any cars, but American cars, mostly General Motors products. I have a weird knack for being able to identify virtually any car I see, so if I'm ever a witness to a vehicular homicide - ain't no thang. I also love the military - the equipment, the history, the wars - its just fascinating to me. Politics is also a part of me as well as history in general.

My first experience with schooling was with a private school, which I was kicked out of in Kindergaten because my father defaulted in some payments (and I don't blame him). They actually refused to teach me for about a month when I was in limbo. That experience has jaded my view of private schools ever since.

From the fourth grade on, I attended a series of gifted or magnet schools until I entered high school at CHS. I had the choice of attending the International Bachelorette program at another school, but I declined, partially because I wasn't a single female from overseas (seriously though, the student body was way too prissy, and I detest prissy people). I'm very happy with going to a regular school, although its often described as "the ghettoest school in the county". I can't really disagree, because Pinella
s is an affluent county (at least compared to Pasco - whoa! Fleamarkets EVERYWHERE!). Its nice, though; there's a healthy mixture of races and ethnicities. I have many friends and find myself sorta popular -- ok, maybe not, but its more like "Brian? Oh yeah, Brian." instead of "Brian? Oh, Brian! Wait, the other Brian?"

I can't say I dislike any of my classes, although my favorites this year are AP Economics and JROTC. JROTC is great because we get to kill Commies every other weekend, well, no. The class itself is an easy A, but the real fun comes in with other activities, like ushering at Open Houses, helping out with parking at events, and other good stuff. I tried out for rifle team this year, but I didn't make it (stupid standing position), so its just academic team for me, which isn't bad at all. Our SMI (Senior Marine Instructor, oh it's Marine Corps JROTC, by the way) is Col. Davis. If there ever is a Marine, its him.

After high school, I'm still shootin' for the US Air Force Academy because I want to become an officer in the Air Force. But, if that doesn't work out perfectly, I have other ways to get in (I have some very incriminating photos of V.P. Dick Cheney). In any case, I want to either fly bombers like those big ol' B-52 Stratoforts or electronic warfare/recce jets like the E-3 Sentry (the one with the huge saucer-shaped radome on top) or the RC-135 (the one that looks like it broke out with acne), but I've recently been thinking about joining the JAG Corps of whatever branch I get into. JAG = military lawyer; I guess years of watching the TV sho
w JAG and Law & Order has done that to me.

Well, that's pretty much it. If you're still reading this, you must be even more bored than I was when I wrote it....enjoy the rest of the site!
