Hopefully I can completely strip the 57 down and rebuild her.

I've had this car since 1994. I have done nothing
to it but drive and enjoy it so far. It has a
little bit of cancer on the passengers side. Some
on the front fender, and some on the right wheel
well. She is comming off the frame, and new body
panels are going on. Not a "restoration" more of
a resto-fitting. Most of the car is not original
already.It will end up a custom cruiser when done.

Make sure that you always have a plan when
begining a project such as this. That way you
have a definite direction in which to head.
Otherwise you will spend a fortune trying all the
possibilities. Fixing up an antique or classic
vehicle can take you in endless directions. Make
certain you know what you want to accomplish
before you go broke!

was a child. When a friend had a 66 thunderbird
for sale in the early 70's, I bought it and drove it
for years. Then a friend that was a dealer got one
in on trade and knew I had one. Thought I might be
interested. So I ended up buying that one also. A
few years went by, we had to move out of state, we
moved the latter 66 with us. New place, no job for
months, had to sell it. Not going to let that happen again!
