History

There has always been Evil. Evil exists in almost every living being in the world except for a select few. These select few are known as the Protectors. Guardians of all that is good and pure. Kayo's great great grandfather was the first of many who will walk this unknown path of truness.

   I was there when the first stone was layed in place ten thousand years ago. It took four men nearly 100 years to complete the temple. Their names where Kenshin, Tusami, Tetsuo, and Kayo. They where the first four boys, no, men who felt the fire of goodness burning in their souls. I can still see the looks on their faces as they saw the completed Altar for the first time. Kayo was the first to speak out. "I can feel a power from this place. A power that is beyond even that of the Ki of Earth. This place shall be the last stronghold against Evil."

   For the next four hundred years, peace reighned over the world. The forests grew and flurished, the soil was furtal, and the heavens sang with joious prase.

   But with the comming of the day, their must always be the comming of the darkness.

   On the night of the Temple year of 401 bp (Before Peace) the darkest time in earths existance started to form. AN injured man came to the Temple for healing. His wounds would take many weeks to heal, but the wounds that his ilk would enflict would take eons to mind.

   That night marked the beginning of what will become to be known as "The Battle of AGES". The worse battle seen by man or beaste. Many souls lost their lives. May the heavens take them home. (For complete AGES information, see the Legends and Stories section).

   After 11,000 years of war, Lord DarkStar retreated with his troops. His defeate came at the hand of a young boy, the Grandson of the Kayo Ki who helped build the Temple. His name was Kayo Shiro. Lord DarkStar's last words before he left was, "SO help me kid! I will return and take my revenge! The secrets of Le-Rou shall be MINE!"

                                          Peace reighned for 2,000 years.

   The corse of time is an odd thing. In one aspect, it helps the growth if the guarden out past the Spirit Yard. In the other, it can also distroy that same guarden. Fate is not without irony.
