Lerlene grew up in rural Vermont. She graduated from high school in 1989. After graduation, she earned her Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Woodbury College in Montpelier, Vermont. She graduated in 1995 and worked as a paralegal for 15 years with various employers, including 8 years as Criminal/Family Court Clerk for the State of Vermont. In 2006, she moved to Wisconsin where she worked as a corporate paralegal for 4 years before deciding on a new career. She has worked in the Marketing/Graphic Design department for a national seminar company for 10 years. During that time, she discovered a love of design. She decided to go back to college and earn her Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design/Website focus. She will graduate in June 2022.
