| This profile is written by Nick V-D 1999-2000 was Big Stevo's best season yet for the leopards. Despite being relocated, his goal scoring record has remained unaffected and, his tackles and passing ratios have improved and a new level of consistency has been found that many thought beyond him. Big Stevo, the Leopards very own Nobby Stiles (Bryant debates this), knows no fear. Cultivated in the back streets of South London, he managed to avoid the all embracing clutches of many top local teams, pausing only briefly on his meteoric way the Leopards stardom. Many opponents question whether he is hewn from Granite (webmaster: perhaps you mean Graphite?) and teammates draw immense comfort from his presence along side them. To everyone he is the, 'Guv'nor', there is not a pitch in Kensington which is not his manor. Only the brave or foolhardy cross big Stevo on the football pitch. Known only as, 'El Asesino silencioso' (the silent assassin) after his days at Malaga, he has brought a South London toughness to the 'seriously effette' (his words) Thames league. Many an opponent has been left in agony, floored by the boots of the player the French call, ''le mort qui murmure', for all those laymen, the whispering death (webmaster: yes Nick, we all know you can speak french). Above all, Big Stevo stands tall on the football pitch, his off-field 'gentle Ben' impression hides a butchness no opponent can forget. He is a firm believer in the 'holistic approach' to playing central midfield, much to the bemusement of his team-mates. Advocating the inter-connectedness of all things, he stridently claims an assist when a leopards goal follows one of his many misplaced passes to the opposition; similary, when accused of being out of position, he admits to losing his bearings, but argues that, although he had no intention of being there, he is where he needed to be.(?) As one of the Leopards founders, Big Stevo embodies the leopards spirit (and powers of concentration). He returns next year to grace the field with his balletic power and his tendency to go missing. Much like Carlton Palmer.... |

| Player report 00/01 This year Alexander has played an enormity of the games, has anyone noticed? Mark: C Player most like: In attempting to answer this question, I tried to think of the most innocuous player in the premiership, yet plays almost every game, enter Marcus Hall. |

| Player report 99/00 Coincidentally the Leopards most successful season has been the first Big Stevo has actually missed. How ironic. However from the few games he has played, Leopards fans need not worry, his distinctive running style is still there. Next season, Red Rums only serious competitor over 2 furlongs will be once again be bobbing his head up and down. The season experiment with the New York FT footsies has failed, dont worry Leopards aficionados; the man who cant is back. General remark: Its gonna be great to great to get you back. | Player report 98/99 Due mainly to his wetness we have changed league, going from a respectable hard man one to what I can only describe as a pansy league. And frankly his performances have not matched his input into decisions. He is a waster of chances. There are no two ways about it. Although he occasionally produces a good shot (1 every 3 games) he just seems to give up chances. Above all, his heading needs to be improved dramatically. I don't remember him ever scoring a headed goal, come to think of it, I don't remember him ever scoring. Mark: C |
