Military History
What can history tell us? Is there any lesson we can learn form history? Unfortunately, we cannot learn anything from history even though it tells us many profound issues which we can learn from the previous errs. As a good old saying says, "Histroy repeats itself". 

To understand military history, we can first divide the whole military history into the eastern compartment and the western one. In both compartments of military we can categorise the hole history as several chronical eras. In each historical period the form and the concepts differ from one other. Social, ecomonic, political and cultural issues always make the changes, for military is the extension of politics.  Therefore, the changes in terms of politics and society plays very important roles in military history studies. In other words, the human history is coincidently political and military history.
