| ODDS GIEVN BY HONOURABLE PROFFESIOANL PUNTER BRETT SUMMERS -AFTER ROUND 8 A lot has changed in the last couple of weeks in gatha football. Nick Eddy has been promoted to seniors for the meantime, which gives a lotta guys a chance to catch up on his best and fairest lead.Nick Eddy being a front runner in my belief is way in front.Noodles has been in red hot form lately, the little fella has been getting in there, tackling hard and getting a lot of the nut so he has firmed in a lot. Daniel Langstaff has firmed in a bit, after a few consistant games. BEST AND FAIREST B.Geitz $4.20 D.Langstaff $4.50 N.Eddy $5.00 N.oodles $7.40 B.Maxwell $7.50 S.Bracecamp $9.00 S.Vagg $11.00 In the goalkicking Aden Harris has been the big mover moving into equal favourtism. In red hot form with the boot Aden is being the person the guys want to kick to because of his brilliant accuracy. Scott Allen is still going to be a threat and Sam Vagg is up there too. COLEMAN MEDAL A.Harris $3.00 S.Allen $3.00 S.Vagg $5.00 B.Maxwell $5.50 T.Dowd $ 6.80 T.Wightman $9.00 -AFTER ROUND 5 Here we are with another season of football. The Football wouldnt be the same without the TAB Sportsbet. For instance in the 1999 preliminary final Carlton Vs Essendon the blues were paying a mammoth $5 for the win. Carlton dominated the game and thanks to late goals from Lance Whitnal and Aaron Hamill, and a brilliant last quarter from kouta the blues got up to win by 1 point. So Im here to give you my professional odds on our League. Best And Fairest N. Eddy $2.50 B.Geitz $3.80 B.Maxwell $4.00 S.Bracecamp $5.00 D.Langstaff $7.50 S.Vagg $8.00 T.Wightman $10.00 S.Allen $11.50 D.Powney $15 B.Summers $15 Anyone Else $20+ Nick Eddy is obviously the favourite, the captain that the kids look upto. Ben Geitz has started the season off well with his quick bursts through packs and out of the backline. Ben Maxwell is in top form, and seems to be getting better as the year goes on. Stuart Bracecamp is always consistant with Daniel Langstaff almost cementing his place at full back playing a few handy games. Sammy Vagg has returned from his shoulder injury in good form. Tim Wightman is still going in hard and Scotty Allen is providing a very useful target up forward and sometimes down back. And If Summers and Powney can keep off the injury list then they should be very competitive Coleman Medal S.Allen $2.00 S.Vagg $3.00 A.Harris $4.50 N.Eddy $5.00 T.Wightman $.5.50 Anyone else $10 The Coleman medal could all depend on where Scott Allen plays for most of the year. To me he seems to have it wrapped up if he spends all year at Full Forward, but lately he has been used up the ground a fair bit. Sam Vagg is a known goalkicker, with Aden Harris taking advantage of most of his oportunitues. Eddy is always going to be up there and Wightman is a goalsneak |
