Oasis
are rumoured to have given their latest album the working
title of 'LONGTIME SERVANT OF THE GUN'.
Fans who've been logging onto the band's unofficial Internet
www.alt.music.oasis claim to have discovered the title
recently and have even compiled what they think will be the
new record's tracklisting.
Songs slated to appear on the new album include titles of
'Revival', 'Songbird' (written by Liam), 'She Is Love', 'The
Roller' (written by Gem Archer), 'Who's Lookin'', 'Stand Out
Man', 'Streets Ahead But Miles Behind', 'Together', 'It's A
Crime', 'Longtime Servant Of The Gun', 'Heart On Sleeve' and
'Shout It Out Loud'.
A source close to the band said the song titles sounded
'familiar', but an official spokesperson told NME.COM:
"I'm going to pass that album title on to Noel because I
believe he's trying to think of one.
"It is going well in the studio but it's very premature
to talk about titles yet."source: |

Patsy
Kensit and her ex-husband Liam Gallagher may be called to
appear at the trial of two men accused of stealing semi-nude
photos of the actress.
Estate agents Michael Sulkin, 39, and 34-year-old Howard
Kayman allegedly stole the polaroids from the London home the
former model shared with Oasis frontman Gallagher.
At Snaresbrook Crown Court yesterday, the defendants denied
one count of theft between July 6 and August 12 last year.
Sandy Canavan, prosecuting, told the east London court that
Patsy Kensit would be taking the stand. He added that Liam
Gallagher may also give evidence in the case.
Sulkin, of Swiss Cottage, north London, and Kayman of
Stanmore, north London, remain on unconditional bail until
their trial which is set for May 30. |

is Back |

A
month after vowing to give up her ruthless pursuit of the
party lifestyle, we are sad to say Meg Mathews has already
succumbed to temptation.
The ex-wife of Noel Gallagher was looking rather the worse for
wear at London's Kabaret on Saturday. Club owner Piers Adam
was seen trying to wake up Meg, who was slumped over in the
VIP lounge. "It was a very sorry sight," said an
onlooker.
Meg, 35, had pledged to stop partying because she feared she
could lose custody of her and Noel's one-year-old daughter
Anais. |

was "badly stung" by his last marriage |

OASIS
star Noel Gallagher's Scots girlfriend says he's too skint to
marry her in the near future.
Sara MacDonald has had to shelve any idea of walking up the
aisle soon because of Noel's disastrous marriage to Meg
Matthews.
Noel and Sara are to move in together next month and friends
say they are absolutely smitten with each other.
And Noel has even won over Sara's parents, Ruaridh and Norma,
regularly joining Mr MacDonald at his local pub.
Speaking exclusively to the Sunday Mail, PR girl Sara, 30,
says Noel, who faces pounds 25,000-a-month maintenance
payments to Meg, was "badly stung" by his last
marriage.
Last week, it was revealed that he and brother Liam had been
forced to ditch their limos and use economy class on trains.
As well as payments to ex-wives, the brothers have been hit by
tax demands and seen album sales fall.
Sara, of Edinburgh, who works for London Public Relations firm
Capitalize, said: "Things are fantastic. We've been
together for eight months and you know when you've found that
person. We have a laugh and we're great friends, he's really
good company. We are not engaged. But we're moving in together
next month and I'm really excited about that." The
whirlwind romance began soon after the collapse of the
guitarist's three-year marriage to Meg. The couple, who have a
daughter, Anais, parted after rows over her party lifestyle.
It is thought the divorce will be through in May.
Sara wants her wedding in Scotland while the hen night would
be in Edinburgh. |

| Aerosmith
and R.E.M on Oasis |
APRIL
1st 2001 |
|
In
an interview with REM singer Michael Stipe, the journalist
tells Stipe that he was mugged on the way to the interview.
And:
"...Stipe proves to be the very essence of care and
concern. "Are you OK?" he asks. "Did they hit
you?" I tell him that Liam Gallagher-style behaviour was
off the agenda, and the bag was handed over with the minimum
of fuss. "Believe me," says Stipe, "Liam would
have done exactly the same. Only quicker."
Aerosmith frontmen Steven Tyler and Joe Perry were being
interviewed about taking their careers for granted and they
had this to say about Oasis:
"When I was a kid, you watched bands grow, the Kinks and
the Animals, and you grew with them, you couldn't wait to hear
what they had to say next. And now you've got Liam Gallagher
falling off the stage and spitting on his audience and walking
off. It's easy to get pissed off and angry and leave. It's
harder to stick around, to stay. Next time, the audience won't
be there. I'm a big fan and I'm pissed off."
Perry takes a more positive view, pointing out that Oasis are
set to support the Black Crowes on a tour. "Maybe they
got tired of sitting around," he muses. "It's really
easy to read your press and think you've hung the moon and
piss it away. It's easy to get insulated if you've made a bit
of money. We made every mistake. The band fell apart, we had
the arguments, we had the wives, we had all the excesses, and
we were lucky enough to learn from it." |

PATSY
Kensit looks a vision in pink as she models the latest
fashions for a spring catalogue collection.
Wearing a pink and beige shirt and matching trousers, the
actress and singer shows she is back to her best.
She seems to have put her recent troubles with ex-husband
Oasis' Liam Gallagher behind her for the Debenhams Direct
catalogue. The 33-year-old has steered her modelling career
back on track and even took to the catwalk last year wearing a
stunning outfit for the BBC Clothes Show Live at Birmingham's
NEC.Patsy seems to have her life back in order after it was
revealed recently that the Oasis rocker was unfaithful to her
during their first week of marriage.Earlier this month she was
seen house-hunting around Hampstead for a three- bedroom
property with a family room and garden suitable for her and
her two sons, James and Lennon. |

| Noel
and Liam "step off the train" |
MARCH
31st 2001 |
|
The
GALLAGHER brothers have been forced to cut down on their
profligate spending and have started to take the train to get
to the recording studio.
OASIS are currently holed up in a studio in Buckinghamshire
recording their new album.
According to the Daily Express, the Gallaghers have been told
by accountants that they must rein in their finances. Hence
Noel and Liam have stopped spending £400 a day on cars and
spend £9 on a train ticket instead.
Both Noel and Liam have been hit hard by their high profile
divorces. Liam is set to lose about half his fortune, while
Noel is paying out £25,000 a month to ex-wife Meg Mathews.
Cheeky Liam tried to skip the fare yesterday but an inspector
caught up with him and told him to make sure he bought a
ticket on the train. |

| In
Germany Oasis aren't Oasis without Noel |
MARCH
31st 2001 |
|
A
German court should decide the value of Oasis without Noel
Gallagher, a London High Court judge ruled today (March 30).
The ruling comes following a dispute last summer when Oasis
played two shows in Germany without their songwriter and lead
guitarist. Promoters are refusing to pay the full fee, saying
Oasis without Noel are not the band they booked.
Mr Justice Morrison today detailed a rift between Noel and
brother Liam that led to Noel refusing to play the June shows.
He was replaced by Matt Deighton for many dates on the band's
European tour last year following the fall-out.
As a result of Noel's no-show, promoters Mark Lieberg
Konzertagentur have refused to pay Definitely Maybe (Touring),
Oasis' booking company, their full fee. Definitely Maybe
(Touring) had attempted to have the case heard in a British
court.
"Aside from any other consideration," Justice
Morrison said, "the centre of gravity of the dispute is
in Germany, which will provide the more convenient forum for
deciding to what extent Oasis without Noel Gallagher was worth
anything, and if so, how much." |

| Liam
like Damon Albarn?? |
MARCH

|
Blackout,
who played in the Radio 1 live lounge last week and are now at
number 19 in the chart with 'Hey Mr DJ', are hoping to rope in
Liam Gallagher for a track on their album.
The group have been inspired by Damon Albarn's work with
Gorillaz.
Although they don't want to be turned into cartoons, Merlin
told Radio 1 Liam's voice will sound great on a garage track:
"If Damon could do it maybe Liam could too. Just a chorus
thing with some attitude - because they've got similar
tones." |

has a Coldplay biography listed
on its site and in it Chris Martin has this to say about Liam:
"We want as many people as possible in the world to love
our music," Martin told The Independent. "The other
day I met Liam Gallagher, and I was expecting him to go on
about Robbie Williams and the Sun, but he just doesn't give a
shit about anything except songs. He loves music. And I
thought, that's wicked, that means I don't have to feel any
shame about it." |
