| NEC did the good job in designing this CD-rom drive. When you open the case you will find that the whole pick up system is built on the aluminium alloy die-cast chassis. Like CD93, CDR601(the code) is also using electro-magnetic servo system to drive the CD pickup. I had added a remote control in this unit. THe further modifications are needed. Since the original case is using switching power which contains high-freq noise, a good power supply must be needed.
