Mary Kolka was born February 18, 1875 in Germany. She was the daughter of Martin Kolka and Bellina Szranna. The family entered the United States in 1885, and settled in Marquette, Michigan.
On November 5, 1895, Mary married John Dushane . Together they had five children before John's untimely death in December of 1903. Mary remarried in 1910 to George Grobarek. Together they also had five children.
Mary died on December 24, 1967 and is buried in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Marquette, Michigan. We continue to research Mary's family.
