Leo - Symbol of The Lion
LEO AND ARIES
This is usually a great combination, with both sides being emotional in their make up, Leo will lionize an Arien mate. These well-matched partners get along marvelously in the bedroom. They're an unbeatable combination for deriving sheer joy and excitement from sex. They also share the same likes and dislikes in other areas of life. However, they need all that rapport to overcome one big problem-the head-on collision of two super egos, each of whom wants to play the leading role. Aries also needs this kind of encouragement if any project is to be finished as they are true trail blazers, not finishers. Being so much alike sexually can be one of the important things that will keep them true to their commitments. Between the two of them, if one is loving and tactful with the other, meeting that persons emotional needs, then you will see a happy union. A partnership between Aries and Leo in a one on one situation is not likely to be workable as they are too much alike and the business would be a victim of a clash of personalities that would soon kill it.
LEO AND TAURUS
Venus and the Sun make a good combination, especially when each understands the other's faults. Leo's sovereign right to rule runs smack up against Taurus's determination to have its own way. Both are fixed signs, so neither will give an inch . Leo merely becomes angrier and Taurus more obstinate. Thrifty Taurus is also appalled at Leo's careless spending habits. Taurus is cautious and deliberate; Leo expansive and extravagant. Taurus stubbornly refuses to give Leo constant worship, and Leo is too self-centered to give Taurus the devotion it needs. Taurus may feel that Leo should do something to cultivate emotional compatibility. Leo often shows a lack of concern for Taurus' feelings or emotional needs and this attitude is carried over into the bedroom where Leo could meet with the cold shoulder as Taurus has declared war on him/her causing a lot of distress to this highly sexed fire sign. A strong attraction physically and emotionally but perhaps too many obstacles to hurdle. In business this is not a recommended match for a business partnership as the Leo, fire sign in the inspirational (ideas) group, would be forever warring with, and putting down the good ideas that Taurus,of the mechanically minded practical group comes up with.
LEO AND GEMINI
They strike it off immediately because they like so many of the same things-glamorous social life, parties, theater, lots of friends. While Leo loves with his heart first, Gemini loves with his mind. This combination will soon find out that they are unsuited for each other. Leo is more intense than airy Gemini. Both of these two signs have the ability to adapt themselves to the others moods and ways and this can make for a very good union, either because of the challenges it offers, or in spite of them. Leo also has the ability to forget and forgive Geminis occassional neurotic outbursts, as well as respecting Geminis desire for individual freedoms. Sexually, Leo loves whole-heartly and Geminis variable desires are a complete mystery to him/her. Leo is quite capable of warm-heartly breaking down any resentments that Gemini may harbor from the daytime thereby easing the tension in the bedroom. Gemini will need to understand Leo's need to run the world, but all in all this is a very good combination of air and fire. In business Gemini and Leo would make great business partners as one, Leo the fire sign in the inspirational group, and Gemini air in the mental group of marketing, will do very well together as long as the mutible air sign can convince the fixed fire sign to take a broader view of matters.
LEO AND CANCER
Usually this is a good combination, since the Moon (Cancer) reflects the light of the Sun (Leo). Both are romantics, though in different ways: Leo wants a relationship to be glorious and exciting, Cancer wants it to be meaningful and fulfilling. Leo doesn't get as overwrought as Cancer, who takes things more seriously. Cancer needs security, tranquility, and is a stay-at-home. Leo is boisterous and a gadabout who loves to be on constant display. Both Leo and Cancer feel they should be the 'boss' and the home loving, nurturing, Cancer will spend more time sulking than talking unless he or she is allowed to make most of the decisions. This situation could not be tolerated by Leo who must be in the limelight, or be gone. Sexually, Leos demands can get excessive as their appetites vary considerably. Leo will appreciate cancer's attention and as long as cancer can forget that they feel neglected at times when Leo is out running the world, there is a chance this could work. A partnership between these two will seldom workout as Leo will soon grow tired of the constant complaints and negative attitude of the Cancerian who will spend a lot of time angry and sulking if he or she is not allowed to play the role of fearless leader. The water signs do well in designing but are too emotional to make partnerships a workable objective unless the time and date of the birth acts to change some of the emotional attitudes of Cancer and the person himself (or herself) changes to a more positive type of personality.
LEO AND LEO
This should prove to be a compatible combination, but it is not always true. This couple can have a royal mating a grand passion conducted on a grand scale. Both are romantic, colorful, exuberant about life, and highly sexed. The main question is: Who's going to be in charge? It's difficult for one Leo to make room for another ego as large as its own, but that's exactly what's needed here. Each not only wants to sit on the throne, each wants to be the power behind it as well. Leos enjoy a strong sex drive and these two will probably spend a lot of their time together in bed. This could develop into an overactive sex life that may branch off in perverse directions, totally without love, unless checked and kept within bounds. This is an intense type of relationship that can be either a lifelong love or a lifetime of hate. The main trouble is, that they both are so much in love with love that they may ignore the reality. In business Leos will not make a good partnership as the grandiose ideas of each would clash, and if one were to get his way then the enterprise, if it fails, could be destroyed, at which time the partners loss of investment would be assured.
LEO AND VIRGO
Leo is drawn to Virgo's intellectualism, but Virgo doesn't understand Leo's dramatic nature. Leo can't get from cool, reserved Virgo the sexual responsiveness it demands. Virgo is practical and prudent; Leo is extravagant and a spendthrift. Leo likes to live life in a really big way, but Virgo is conservative, frugal and a nit-picker--which puts a damper on Leo's high spirits. Virgo won't be dominated either. Leo would rather be doing something fun such as hosting a party or going out with friends. This attitude on both parts will go far in breaking up the relationship. The approach to the earning power of each could also be a source of irritation for Virgo. Virgo can work long hard hours and barely make a living while one of Leos wild schemes might pay off big. This is one of those relationships that depends on the type of relationship it is. In business Virgo and Leo will find it rough going should they decide on a partnership, since neither one will show the respect for the others actions and ideas they will not be 'in business' very long. They are also not likely to become friends. The conservative Virgo would cramp Leos 'style', while Leo would make Virgo have nightmares over the business.
LEO AND LIBRA
The hale and hearty may prove to be too much for the sensitive Libra nature, though they have alot in common that could make for a good combination. Leo's creative side meshes well with Libra's penchant for artistic and esthetic pursuits. Leo is more interested in the strictly physical side of love than Libra, but Leo's style and brio can win Libra over. Libra is indecisive and Leo will naturally take charge. The checkbook may not always balance because they're both extravagant and love a beautiful setting in which to shine. Each will also try to outdo the other in order to get attention. Sexually, their appetites are pretty much the same. Libra needs glamour and fantasy and looks to his/her mate to supply it in the bedroom, and if this need is not met Libra will be looking for a new mate. Leos approach to sex could be a straight forward, direct one that with a different mate could get into fantasies, but with Libra his/her sexual appetites will not be expressed to the fullest due to the many hours spent arguing and bickering. In business fire and air would normally work well together, but these particular signs would not do so. Libra being the cardinal sign would not have a chance to get the good ideas across to fixed Leo, and their periods of laziness will not be conducive to wealth building as a business partnership. This would be especially true should these periods coincide.
LEO AND SCORPIO
Two shinning personalities join together. There's immediate sexual fascination with each other. But Leo finds it hard to cope with Scorpio's jealousy and possessiveness. Intense, smoldering Scorpio is on a too short fuse, while Leo is much more buoyant. Leo thinks Scorpio difficult and temperamental; Scorpio considers Leo pretentious and a show-off. Scorpios sexual appetites could be overactive which could make up to Leo for a lot of other things. Sexual relations are also an area where Leo will give into Scorpios wishes and, when it is noticed that Scorpio has a reluctance to give into Leo, Leo will feel hurt and rejected. This is a storm tossed relationship best left unboarded. As a business partnership this fire and water combination will not last beyond the ink drying on the paper as these two would be forever at odds over one thing or the other. The two personalities are much to widely varied for them to make this a good workable proposition.
LEO AND SAGITTARIUS
This makes an excellent combination most of the time. It is said that fire must be fought with fire, and it seems to fit for the marriage of these two signs, with little exceptions. Leo is enthralled by optimistic, extroverted Sagittarius-and fun-loving Sagittarius is enchanted with Leo's sunny openness to life. Together they share a liking for freedom, adventure, and meeting new people. Leo is very proud, but self-confident and expansive Sagittarius is perfectly happy to let Leo strut. If leo does not try to tame this one, and does not condemn and argue over the sexual indescretions that he/she commits, Sagittarius may someday decide that there is no reason to look elsewhere for the satisfaction he/she can find at home. This can be a relationship that has the potiential to be very rewarding with the right combination of the synastry charts. Love can make it work. In business, Sagittarius, a mutable fire sign in the inspirational group would work very well with Leo, a fixed fire sign in the inspirational group. Both of these signs lean toward common sense in a business setting and will be able to retain respect for each others feelings and ideas.
LEO AND CAPRICORN
The slow Capricorn may prove to be too much for the carefree nature of Leo. Both are highly sexed, but with basic differences. Leo needs glamour in lovemaking and Capricorn can't supply it. Leo will think Capricorn stingy with affection because Capricorn's reserved, undemonstrative nature cannot give Leo the adoration it needs. About sex; Leo approaches it in a light hearted, fun loving manner but Capricorn is straightlaced and serious. Given enough time he/she may loosen up a bit in the bedroom, but don't bank on it. Leos wish for what Capricorn considers an overindulgent amount of sex and Capricorn is irritated by this as he/she believes in moderation of all things. This affair will be on the rocks before it even leaves the dock. In business; Due to the widely diverse personalities of these two signs, this would not make a good business partnership as these two would find it hard to run a business given the differing views on spending money.
LEO AND AQUARIUS
This pair of the sun and Uranus is usually a good one. There is initial physical attraction between them, but Aquarius's tendency to analyze and criticize will shake Leo's confidence and deflate its ego. Leo views Aquarius's aloof emotions as a personal rejection. Also, Aquarius's unconventional, experimental approach to love may prove upsetting to Leo, who doesn't like to wander too far afield. Both like socializing and meeting new people, but Leo always needs to perform on center stage, which makes Aquarius impatient and irritable. Aquarius is too independent to become Leo's devoted subject. their sexual life will be unsatisfactory for Leo as Aquarius can and will find others that capture their interests and this will frustrate Leo, causing Leo to think that his/her mate is inhuman and uncaring. In business; Aquarius and Leo would not make a good business partnership for many of the reasons outlined above in the love and marriage section. LEO AND PISCES
The strong and hearty temperament of Leo may be too much for the subtle and sensitive Pisces. Leo is flamboyant, domineering; Pisces is unworldly and mystical. They intrigue each other because they are so different, but the differences don't mesh well. Leo's active outgoing nature doesn't harmonize with Pisces's dreamy introspection. Leo needs public acclaim, while Pisces prefers the sheltered life. Both are more inclined to take than to give. The bedroom activities could make or break this union as both are highly sexed and will enjoy the time spent together here. To keep Leo happy, Pisces must learn to control his/her changeable moods and keep them out of their lovelife, and if Leo can accept a weaker sign as a mate then it might work out. In business; Pisces has a good head for business and can make better decisions than the ordinary person due to the intuition used by this sign. Leo is impulsive and can be extravagant which will not sit well with Pisces. It would be better for both of these signs to be a sole proprietor instead of a business partnership; the measure of success for each of these can be very good...but not together.
