One day, long ago, I met this girl and fell in love.
Under the blue sky, by the lake, on a sunny day,
We promise to each other to love and cherish.
Her eyes made me feel so wonderful.
We hold each other and talk about our dreams.

Couple years later, on a sunny July day,
The miracle of life come upon us.
Here you were the first one, the fruit of our love.
You were so tiny and so beautiful.
You brought me joy and happiness.

I watch you grow up, and become the loveliest lady.
You made me so proud of you in what ever you do.
I feel your tenderness and your love.
You have a mind of your own but respect you for it.
You learned to be independant but considerate for others.

Time was not always easy when you growed up.
Sometimes you look at me and find how mean I was
But today you learn that my NO help you to grow.
I only wanted you to be safe and happy.
My over protect instinct wanted to make sure you were alright.
I hope one day, in your heart you will understand.

On your graduation day, you brought tears to my eyes.
I knew then, that my lovely tiny sunshine,
Was about to leave the nest and it was hard to let go.
You are still with me, and share the lovely you,
Hoping in my heart, that the day you will leave the nest,
Will be much later on.  I do love you, my sweet daughter.

One night, I was woken up by a phone call.
It was the hospital, advising me, you had an accident.
On that moment, i saw all your life passed infront my eyes.
Rush to be next to you, holding back my tears
Which were so close to fall on your cheeks.
Thank GOD, you were alright.
HE spared you, just so i realize how precious you are for me.

My sweet lovely daughter, I will never tell you enough,
How much I cherish you in my life.
I might not be the best dad you could have,
But deep inside my heart, I LOVE YOU.
Forgive my temper, which sometimes you have to deal with.

I hope one day, you will discover the love I have for you.
I might not be rich but the love I have, I share it with you.
You are my sweet angel, that was put on my path,
So I learn to love and take care of a sweet human being.
For ever, take this love and share it with others.

On your wedding day, I know I will be proud to walk you down the aile.
Deep inside me, I will feel sad, but you will always be my daughter.
You will always be, my sweet lovely one,
That I love, the second you were born.
I will always be there for you no matter what.

The day I leave this earth, I hope that you will remember me
As your loving father, and will always be proud of me.
