A lonesome dove

There is conflicts all around us in this world of misery
There is a lack of communication surrounding us
Misinterpretation of what a real message is about
A series of words without real connection to each other

Leaders that prefer a tremendous power trip
Forgetting the real essence of what the people want
Letting the glory of power run their decisions
On a pedestal they watch for their prey

How could this happen on such a wonderful planet
People being scared to speak against this evil
Letting them run and accumulates such a power
Leaving behind the hungry and innocent children

Who am I a lonesome dove, to talk against all this
I possess within me a small tender word
By my actions and talk, I hope that one day it grows
Spreading to everyone a message of peace and love

The smallest action of each one of us
Sure grow to be an enormous message
Spread it around and let it pass from one another
Peace can only be if we start by the closest ones

How could a planet be so divided
North and South, East and West
Why can we bring down those boundaries
Letting the sharing and love conquered the world

Each moment of my life, I pray for my human kind
That one day this will become a reality
Let us forget and more let us forgive each other
For the mistakes we make and let us learn from them

How could we be so insensitive seeing a child
With no food, no clothing, and no housing
How can we accept to watch this misery
Without lifting a single little finger

How can we explain such poverty without saying a word
How can we ignore such a reality in our life
How can we accept such a difference in these days
How can we go to sleep thinking of those in such a situation

History goes on and repeats itself
Have we learn something after all this
A war is destruction, lost of human life, not really solving anything
A conflict is a lack of communication

If only each one we become the little dove of peace
Share our wealth, our forgiveness, and our love
This wonderful green planet would become peaceful
From the North to the South, from East to the West

Let’s there be peace on Hearth and we would have mastered
The main essence of living as a human
No matter the race, the color, the religion, and the language
Love and sharing is the same in all of them

Be kind to your human fellow, respect is the major key
Better to have a soft heart than have a stone instead of a heart
Open wide and share this love to all human kind
Spread the wings of joy and happiness to the closest one
